Armed with an innate sense of style and determination beyond his years, Gregory Atkin set forth from his birthplace in Adelaide, South Australia intent on becoming an interior designer. Settling in Sydney, in 1996, his creative vision led to the establishment of the first of his successful businesses, Inside Out Building Interiors. Lucrative projects and contracts within the fashion and entertainment industries fuelled his imagination and his now-signature style: elegant, theatrical, with an architectural sensibility.
As the business grew, so did Gregory’s reputation for excellence, his sought-after service resulting in relocation to New York in 1999 to fulfil several interior design projects. Doors opened to an international network he assimilated into with ease, and inspired his next business venture, Your Concierge, a high-end personal concierge service. At the helm of Your Concierge, Gregory travelled the globe, facilitating the specific requirements of some of the world’s most prominent and influential clients.
Responding to the growing demand for large-scale events and special occasions from his well-heeled clientele, in 2007 Gregory consolidated his expertise in Interior Design, Fashion and Construction to form a specialist event decorations business. Today, Your Special Events is recognised for supplying some of the most unique luxury event furnishings in the country.
Working with Gregory, you know that Your Special Events is his true passion. Over the years, he has fostered strong relationships with the best vendors, locally and internationally, transforming events of every size budget and scale.
